Most in the audio world use Apple's Mac computers; however a pc will work if the processors and RAM are powerful enough. Other things to consider are software compatibility and storage. Using an external hard drive or back ups for your music may help prevent loss of data and free some space on your computer's hard drive. Lastly USB Hubs and other accessories may be needed, especially if one is using a laptop.
