The article predicts the top 7 social media marketing trends that will dominate 2015. One trend is the rise of Ello. The website offers a ad-free experience and promises to never sell its users’ information to third parties. Another trend is that Facebook advertisement pricing and demand will significantly increase. This is happening at the same time of Facebook's post reach declining. Twitter's new business advertising model's popularity is predicted to increase next year. This is the result of Twitter offering businesses more choices and flexibility in how and what they pay in advertising. Google + is predicted to decline. The article claims that the social networking site does not offer anything that twitter. Facebook, and LinkedIn doesn't offer. Instagram is predicted to be essential for image based social media marketing. Instagram's popularity continues to increase and this will be an excellent opportunity for business to take advantage of the social media platform. LinkedIn may continue to grow and widen the gap between their organization and competitors. The Business to Business network may continue to be the top network of choice for their users. Social media marketing may finally be embraced as a core pillar of content marketing. Marketers may learn that social media marketing is essential to expanding the reach of their content.

Great insight. Not too sure that G+ will die into obscurity. The core group of users and influencers on that particular social channel have proven time and time again that the network is long as you put time and effort into your attempt!
