When the business develop a trusted brand, the customers will be influenced to develop brand loyalty.A customer's postive experience is a good way to build brand loyalty. Because when the customer feel happy and satisfied with the quality products or good services, they will probably return consistently for future purchases. So experience can change a customer's impression of a business. Consumers also want to spend their money on the business which they trust. For example, one of my friend only wear one brand T-shirt, because the trust has been established. There are other influences such as the impacts from family or friends. All in all, build a brand loyalty can not only maintain current customers, but also attract new customers.

Brand loyalty is directly linked with brand equity. If consumers buy or use a product regularly, it means consumers have satisfied with the brand and they will always show more brand loyalty a specific brand if brand equity of the product is higher.

Branding is one of the most important aspects of business and branding strategy is a plan for communicating and delivering the brand messages.Therefore,having an effective branding strategy leads the business to a good brand image and a strong brand equity.For instance, when I chose cosmetics, I would rather chose some big brand such as Chanel,Dior,Mac by paying higher prices.Because these brands have built powerful brand images and they have a loyal customer base.

To improve brand image and brand awareness, Companies need to develop an effective brand strategies. The important aspect of spreading brand awareness and brand image is through communication.Just as Stella says, those big brand have established a communication channel to win the new customers and retain existing customer.

Brand is not only logo, slogan and design scheme, but customers'total experience of the business. It delivers your promises, personalities, servicse and brand images to customers.
Marketing is the way helps you to communicate the promise that you want customers and prospects to know about. Marketing should based on branding.
None of these two components can be dispensed with.

Branding is putting a company's name on a product. Marketing is advertising and promoting a product to sell it to the market. But i do feel branding is kind of marketing. Branding is the part where business design an association between a name and a product or line of products.
