I'm not sure how this differs from using Google docs but, as this has been developed by writers specifically for collaborative writing I think this will be of interest to Learning Developers

Arid environmental conditions are not conducive to agricultural production. Like many non-arable environments, this presents a significant contemporary challenge to states in terms of feeding its population. With the exception of Egypt, this is true for many North African and Middle Eastern states who rely heavily on imported food, making the populace highly sensitive to the fluctuations of global food prices. The Algerian government is working towards intensifying it agricultural sector but as most of the population also lives in these arable areas along the coast, gains in cultivate production may come at the expense of living space. Yet, faced with the ubiquitous environmental constraints that surround them and the volatility of food prices, what other options do they have?
