ITeachBlogging's insight:
This is a fascinating blog post. It has ideas that I have never thought of before. It does offer one of the best ways to do link building that I have seen i a very long time. Link Building is something that I am extremely wary of but this is almost inspiring. The big idea here that really struck me is to find dead websites in your keyword and find out who is linking to it. Then contact those people and offer up your website as a resource. That frankly sounds like a lot of work but also a great idea. If you have a team of people I would sure consider it as an option. It is true that links are extremely valuable and I generally preach finding them naturally. If your research leads to natural uses of a link that is dead and you have a link that would fit that is brilliant.
