This was published in October, 2013 and the issue is still present. The intended audience are people who read the Economist and care about world affairs, the info is well formatted and fairly in depth on the issue. The readership level is average and the info discusses the issues of rivers in China. The authors are from the known magazine The Economist and are legitimate, and are responsible for a large amount of publications in the magazine. There is not a works cited for the article, however further research into current events shows that the problem discussed is very real. The article serves the purpose of trying to come up with new solutions to a pressing issue and is biased in that it is against the current actions being taken to alleviate the issue.
