Drivers now have at their disposal the same real-time information fleet managers see, allowing them to see their performance and make adjustments accordingly.

A great example of how business intelligence has the potential to change every industry, even the cab business.  While taxis have been slow to innovate since the early days of the two-way radio, today, thanks to business intelligence reporting, they're able to track key performance metrics, including safety, ompliance, on-time service, fuel economy, idling, load acceptance, and the accuracy of drivers' planned time-of-availability.  What's next, analytics for hot dog stands?
