Sensors determine whether a room is occupied, so lighting, heating and cooling get adjusted to be more energy efficient and save building owners money.Though provincial incentives to reward energy efficiency may give commercial landlords a financial impetus, many find it is also a necessity for attracting tenants. But in older buildings, it’s not that easy to become more energy efficient.

Un système qui combine des détecteurs de mouvement et de CO2  et une boite de dialogue avec le système de pilotage des consommations conventionnelles du bâtiment. On mise à 100% sur la technologie, en considérant que bailleurs et usagers veulent optimiser la performance énergétique mais ne pas s'y impliquer, quitte à laisser le contrôle à la technologie.

Very good point. Demand control is one of the simplest and most cost-effective types of control that can be used for a variety of energy-using services including lighting, ventilation, heating and cooling. If it's not needed, turn it off. Simple!
