Francisco Coronado's insight:

I strongly belive that two brains think much more than twice as much as one do. The point is how to find sinergies and, even more important, how to put all these elements together in the right direction. There are no bad technologies but bad people. And that is just an educational matter.

How SEO Has Changed in 2012 [infographic]

How SEO Has Changed in 2012 [infographic] | Marketing 2.0 | Scoop.it

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine’s “natural” or un-paid (“organic”) search results.

In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users.

The Anatomy of Tomorrow's Inbound Marketing Strategy Today [Infografic]

The Anatomy of Tomorrow's Inbound Marketing Strategy Today [Infografic] | Marketing 2.0 | Scoop.it

There are many schools of thought and methodologies defining what inbound marketing should look like. Most of them position content marketing, social media marketing and SEO as the core of inbound marketing. From a 20,000-foot view, this has definite merit. However, with the right technology, enough content, well-developed personae and a good understanding of the brand, inbound marketing strategy can be much more stratified and robust.

On page content SEO Puzzle

On page content SEO Puzzle | Marketing 2.0 | Scoop.it

It doesn’t really matter how much you study it. It's almost impossible to get the perfect Search Engine Optimization score for any long period of time.

Each search engine has their own algorithm to rank websites. Even they change that algorithm frequently to perfect it and make sure that the same sites don't hog up the top positions simply because they have figured out the x-factor in the algorithm to dodge other more popular sites that have the traffic, content mass, and extensive internet presence enough to be ranked at the top.

Francisco Coronado's insight:

I do agree. There are hardly a handful of rules of thumb. SEO expert is more like a craftsman.

Why Content Marketing is the New SEO

Why Content Marketing is the New SEO | Marketing 2.0 | Scoop.it

SEO isn’t the same as what it used to be. You can’t just popup an ugly website, throw up mediocre content, and build a few links and expect to rank well. These days you actually have to build a good website, write high quality content that solves peoples’ problems, build thousands of links, and get thousands of social shares.

Building thousands of high quality links manually is really expensive and even if you have the money, it will take months if not years to build those links. And if you don’t have anything worth sharing on the social web, you won’t get social shares unless you buy them from spammy accounts.
