everything nowadays is done by look, for instance graffiti which is bad is worth nothing but graffiti that looks good can be sold for $450,000 even though they are both in the same category

This shows that Banksy really does not do this for money and it raises interesting arguments over how owns banksy and what graffiti is worth money and which are illeagal

I think the fact that the real Banksy remains unknown makes it both easier and harder, and even by just writing a letter to someone he has shown he doesn't care about the money but he just cares that people benefit off his work, he doesn't mind who it is.
