Salesforce.com passe un partenariat avec D&B pour sa plateforme data.com

Salesforce.com is partnering with business information company Dun & Bradstreet, with D&B supplying company data for Salesforce's newly launched Data.com corporate contact site.

D&B will provide about 200 million company information records to Data.com to be integrated with existing individual contact data from Salesforce's Jigsaw crowd-sourced sales lead unit.

I’ve long believed that B2B marketing automation is just a passing phase: that, ultimately, B2B marketing automation systems will be absorbed into CRM systems instead of operating independently. It’s a view I discuss sparingly in public, since so many of my friends in the marketing automation industry have a vested interest to the contrary. But there are also a few vendors who have bet in favor of merged systems, so it wouldn’t be fair to ignore their view entirely.

XING continue sa progression

Hamburg, August 10, 2011 - XING AG, the leading business network in German-speaking countries, has continued its growth course during the first half of 2011 with revenues from services rising by 25% to €31.6 million compared to €25.3 million during H1/2010. The operating result (EBITDA) grew by 60% to €11.3 million (compared to €7.0 million in H1/2010), while the EBITDA margin increased by 8 percentage points to 35% compared to 27% in H1/2010. Profits of around €5.1 million led to a 95% increase, i.e. almost doubling, of XING’s profits over the same period last year (€2.6 million).
