Australian government eases visa rules for the non-university sector, and ACPET sees it as “a start” | Australia Education [News] | Scoop.it

The new Coalition government in Australia is delivering on its promise to support the country’s international education sector. A mere three months into office, the government has already announced major steps designed to bolster non-university providers operating in the sector, a segment the previous government was widely criticised for overlooking in its policies.

Julia & Eva's curator insight, October 3, 2013 11:17 AM

This goes under the category of education. I think it is good that the teachers and staff are trying to connect to the students. But at the same spending the money to get 11,000 iPads is going a little overboard. I think that they shouldn't have done that because that is something the students could've have bought themselves. The reason we chose this article is because it shows how Australia is using technology in education and is trying to reach out to their students in different ways.
