Andrew Diaz's insight:

New wireless speakers are coming out for Apple products. This will allow wireless play of music to a speaker without using wifi. Pros - Less battery usage from having the wifi turned on and connected. Easy to quickly connect and play music. Cons - The sound quality of a little speaker might not be enough if someone is having a large gathering. It's Apple, I'm sure the price will be steep at initial launch.

Andrew Diaz's insight:

Pretty much self explanitory. Not an extensive article but it provides some truthful information. Pro - There are always going to be haters whenever you are good at something. A lot of modern methods receive an immense amount of "hate" from "old schoolers." Some of this can help to bring more attention to the individuals in which the hate is directed, but the obvious downfall lies within the hate itself. This can lead to serious decay in the industry and slow progression.

Entertainment industry, Internet service providers roll out anti-piracy system - The Hill's Hillicon Valley

Entertainment industry, Internet service providers roll out anti-piracy system - The Hill's Hillicon Valley | Audio Industry and Technology | Scoop.it
After several months of anticipation, the copyright alert system managed by major Internet service providers (ISPs) and Hollywood groups is now in effect.
Andrew Diaz's insight:

Internet providers will monitor use and slow internet speeds down if certain sites are accessed. Pro - This will make pirating media more painful and stop a good number of illegal downloads everyday. Cons - We are paying for internet access and it's not cheap so slowing down our speeds is against the actual cost we are paying for. Therefore, we should be paying less.
