Situated on a Mountain named after Premier of Manitoba, John Norquay, Mt Norquay ski resort is one of the three ski resorts in Banff National Park. The first chair lift in Canada was installed in Mount Norquay. To supplement natural snow, 85 % of the ski terrain is covered by snowmaking. 36 runs of the resort are served by 3 quad chairs, one 2 person North American chair and 1 magic carpet. North American chair serves the double black diamond Lodge Pine run. Mt. Norquay is also a family friendly resort.
