Lorna Weston-Smyth's insight:
Everything we create began with a thought. We know what a toxins in our food does to our health and it's the same with our mental health. Want better health? Remove the toxins from what you eat. Want better results? Remove the toxins from your thinking. Not always easy because we often can't see it but others can hear it in our language.

Starting: The Great Separator | Attitude Determines Altitude | Scoop.it
Do you want to be a success? As you know, many obstacles can keep even a highly-motivated person from succeeding. But today I want to talk about the ONLY obstacle that will ALWAYS keep us from success: Not starting.

A Psychiatrist Who Survived The Holocaust Explains Why Meaningfulness Matters More Than Happiness | Attitude Determines Altitude | Scoop.it
In his bestselling 1946 book, Man's Search for Meaning, which he wrote in nine days about his experiences in the camps, Frankl concluded that the difference between those who had lived and those who had died came down to one thing: Meaning, an insight he came to early in life.

"Instead of telling yourself, 'I failed, the business failed, I'm a loser,' " says Freeman, "look at the data from a different perspective: Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Life is a constant process of trial and error."

8 Beliefs You Should Have About Money

8 Beliefs You Should Have About Money | Attitude Determines Altitude | Scoop.it
Money is as basic to our well-being as health or relationships. As Zig Ziglar says, “Money isn't the most important thing in life, but it's reasonably close to oxygen on the ‘gotta have it’ scale.” Yet our culture has a real love/hate relationship when it comes to money.
Lorna Weston-Smyth's insight:
Just like we have unconsciously bought into cultural ideas about beauty, fairness, and success, many of us have bought into the cultural myths and archetypes around money. To change underlying limiting beliefs takes some work and focus.
