Personal finance, investing, saving, spending all have to do with your everyday life and not many people know to much about this topic as a whole or to even do simple things such a cashing a check, making a deposit, or even using a debit card. It doesn't take a rocket sciencist to get this stuff right, just alittle common sense, which after all isn't that common anymore. The stuff you do now effects your future weather you believe it or not.

Creating a budget is a very important thing when your thinking about investing, saving, or just living your day to day life. Most people do not invest because they are scared that they will lose there money but in fact the stock market since the early 1900's has has a average annual return of 10% which is a pretty good number when you factoring in the great depression, black monday, and the financial crisis of 2001 and 2008. The earlier you start the better off you will be in the long run.

First, you should look at how much money you make and then put the number together to see what it is going to take to get out of debt. Next, look at the type of debt you have credit cars, mortgage, college loans. Then determine your financing goals to set a pace for yourself of where you want to be in x amount of years.

Saving money is where investing starts if you can save money you can invest. Albert Einstein once said "Compounding interest is one of the greatest mathematical tools ever invented. Compounding interest is when you earn interest on the principal that has already earned interest.

When you invest you always have things trying to work against you. Inflation is something that happens ever where and is what some might call it lowering the buying power of the dollar bill. Inflation on average is 2-3% each year so that means your investments have to out run the rate of inflation for you to make any money at all.
