The 2013 Subaru BRZ, also known as the Scion FRS or Toyota GT86, was a collaboration between Toyota and Subaru to make a rear wheel drive sports car. The effort of these two companies, who thrive from midsize sedan sales, paid off. Using the best of what the two companies had to offer, they produced a vehicle that performs very well.

The Subaru derived engine uses Toyota's fuel injection system, thus allowing for 30 mpg on the highway. It makes 200 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque, enough to get the car to 60 in roughly 6 seconds.
Alex Boyd's comment, March 5, 2014 9:31 AM
The BRZ comes with two transmissions, either a 6 speed manual, or a Toyota sourced 6 speed dual clutch automatic. Being a dual clutch transmission, the paddle shifter that comes with the automatic is very responsive.

The new Legacy is the most technologically advanced Subaru to date. It is also the most efficient all wheel drive midsize sedan. The same 2.5 liter and 3.6 liter engines carry over from the previous model year, however the more aerodynamic shape of the new model increases efficiency by roughly 10%.

Subaru's all new 2014 Forester won Motor Trend SUV of the year. Released in spring of 2013, the new Forester has more power, better fuel efficiency, more cargo room, and improved exterior styling. Subaru's all wheel drive system allows for great offroad capabilities as well.
Alex Boyd's comment, March 4, 2014 9:27 AM
Subaru is good at making the right vehicle at the right time, and that is just what they did with the new Forester. They are sticking with the trend of small crossovers, which is working out very well. It is an excellent vehicle for any environment, being fun to drive while still capable with lots of cargo room.

The new forester now comes with a CVT transmission mated to either a 2.5 liter flat four, or an all new turbocharged 2 liter flat four. A 6 speed manual transmission is standard. The XT (turbo) model accelerated to 60 in just 6.2 seconds, beating the Acura MDX and BMW X1.

The 2015 Legacy is completely redesigned. Being the most efficient all wheel drive midsize sedan on the market, even the 3.6 liter 6 cylinder engine can achieve 28 mpg highway, previously only averaging 17 with mixed driving. The car also features Subaru's new Starlink infotainment system. Heated rear seats and air vents are also introduced with this model.
