Most businesseses, will at some point in their evolution, attempt to introduce a new product to their chosen market.

 

Given that the vast majority of new product launches fail to excite their markets and disappear from sight very quickly, it pays for any business thinking of launching a new product, to first determine that their proposed product possesses the qualities of past successful products.

 

This excellent article, highlights the very real downside of launching a new product, and it offers a 10 point checklist that any business can use to evaluate their proposed offering against to determine whether or not to proceed with any proposed launch.
