Try to imagine yourself being an orphan at 7 years old. One of the few things that you long for is probably having a home with loving parents. Then the grown ups around you tell you that there's a woman in another country that would like to take care of you. They tell you that you are going to have a new home and just send you off in a plane to wherever this woman is. You get there, and in only 5 months, this new "mother" puts you back on the plane and sends you back to your country saying that she doesn't want you anymore. How would you feel???

"...was met by an unidentified man, whom his adoptive grandmother told The Associated Press she had hired for $200."
This poor child was treated just like you would ship a simple pair of clothing or something that you would not be that sad about if it didn't make it to the destination. What if this man was a really bad person? What if he kidnapped the poor kid and hurt him or even killed him. The possibilities of the bad things that could have gone wrong during Artyonm's trip back to Russia are endless.

I can't believe this woman isn't even showing up to court hearings..... I keep trying to imagine what could possibly make someone act so cold to a child, and then not try to take responsibility for her actions or at least explain why she would do such things.

“The essence of her lawsuit is that I call Hansen his adoptive mother, and she demands to be called Artyom Savelyev’s former adoptive mother.” - the ombudsman
Really??? I think that is just nonsense. If this woman is really serious about suing someone for their choice of words, the I think she is crazy. Suing over choice of words after sending a 7yr old boy thousands of miles alone in an airplane, saying that you don't want him anymore??? How is she making even the least bit of sense of all of this in her mind??
