A new study finds that the use of computers and Facebook are more associated with information overload than the use of television and iPhones.

 

According to the article, "...people have feelings of being overwhelmed by Facebook, which, like reading on the web, can be a bottomless hole of stories, videos, and endless links." But Twitter doesn't seem to have the same effect.

Just because you're not in school anymore doesn't mean you should stop learning. Learning can be fun, especially when you can learn what you want, at your own pace. Learning from a great iPad app can make the experience even more enjoyable.

I will stick with free apps until I'm out of options for something specific. There are so many good ones. Knowing good apps is a start, but I also want to be sure not to just duplicate things I can already do on the desktop or smart board.
