Toronto duo raise 100K for video game movie | Appisode Series | Scoop.it

Toronto boys Jarrett Cale and Geoff Lapaire were trying to raise $75,000 for their new movie "Pure Pwnage" (based on the web-series they created in 2004) via Indiegogo.com, a crowdfunding platform where people who want to raise money can create fundraising campaigns to tell their story and get the word out.

 

In less than 24-hours they met their financial goal. At the time I started writing this post, they've exceeded it in fact, and are currently at $108,259. When the pair hit the $100k mark, they rewarded fans with "previously unreleased audio recording from our archives to our YouTube channel", and have hinted to release even more if they hit any additional milestones....
