Quite useful article and will help a lot in my dissertation on what drives people buy apps on app store.

In the App Store, each apps only displaying their Icon and their names. Which mean that the icon play an important role hooking users into pressing the icon.

Wrapping your ideas into an icon is important but it is very very hard to do so. As some ideas cannot be explain within a small icon and the icon cannot be complicated.

This article is about the current problem in App Store,

People tent to think that any apps which more expensive then a 0.99$ apps is over priced. Also record showed that it will get a massive sales increase when the price when down.

Is this a concern? Or is it normal behaviour of any free market?.

If companies able to find any other way to earn money, such as free to pay with ads. Do apple still need to educate their customer that they also need to look at higher price apps?.

I think each different apps price tiers are targeting different customers, it is always true that the highest tier will contain the least amount of customers while the lowest tier will contain the highest amount of customers.
