What makes toxins dangerous?

The amount of the toxin or dose, that is exposed, eaten, inhaled, or touched is what make toxins dangerous.  Generally, the greater the amount of the toxin a person has taken in, the more deadly the toxin is to that person.  However, low dose of certain toxins can still be just as deadly.
