Delta Air Lines planned to begin flying its newest — and most comfortable— narrowbody jet into key business markets later this month, perhaps hoping to Delta executives said Tuesday they don’t expect to start new Airbus A220 service as expected on Jan. 31, blaming the U.S. government shutdown. The Federal Aviation Administration must certify Delta's new aircraft before the first revenue flight, and the entity is working with a skeleton crew.
