********AMENDMENTS********

The purpose of the bill of rights is to protect the rights of people against infringement. The four amendments that i talk about are; the 1st,4th, and 13th. The first amendment protects the freedom of religion, speech, and the press, as well as the right to assemble and petition the government. the 4th amendment prohibits unreasonable search and seizures and sets out requirements for search warrants based on probable cause. the 13th amendment abolishes slavery and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for a crime

Justices to decide police use of GPS devices on suspects' cars - CNN.com

 analysis: the 4th amendment is involed in this article because  government agents places a gps on a supects car without a warrant. They needed to have a warrant before doing that because that is everyone's right.

Supreme Court justices heard arguments Tuesday on whether police need a warrant to put a GPS device on a suspect and track his movements.

Justices struggle for clarity on prison strip searches - CNN.com

 analysis: the 4th amendment is involed in this article because they had no reason to strip search the guy. That is vilating his privesice.

A New Jersey man who was strip searched in prison received a somewhat chilly reception from an often perplexed Supreme Court Wednesday.
