GIFs is a new digital tool for marketers to introduce the new products using internet based channel such as email advertising or website posts. Marketers widely use it GIFs to advertise the instruction of a new product because it load fast, no need to press and it can explain the story in a straight forward way. It help people understand how to use the product or show the features only in a few seconds. The non-pressing play will automatically explain everything to customers, it saved a lot of time comparing with traditional booklets.

 

The shortage of GIF files is maximum size of an Email GIF is 125K and it will not play until all the frames are loaded, so people may not want to wait during the freeze. For some people with limited or less gigabyte, it might be a wastage thus, it works in the opposite way and people will resist the product. Marketers should be smart with GIFs, make it efficient.

Devices such as smart phones and iPad are getting highly involved with people’s life, this shouldn't be seen as a threat as people are moving from traditional media channels such as TV. Instead, this is an opportunity for marketers as a platform with large audiences is available. Developing markets on mobile phone is a trend that will be adopted by most companies in the near future.

There are also some challenges while developing mobile market. Mobile apps should be well designed that can actually be useful to solve people’s problem, deliver information on time. Unlike a company website, it contains a lot of information assessors can explore about an organization, apps should not contains much information as an site, it should be an express access for users to the get the information they need. Mobile is not a selling channel as people are not willing to buy products without actually see it considering the quantity and differences between image and real product, especially when it comes to some expensive items. However, mobile apps could help people gathering information while choosing the products. Therefore mobile phone should be considered as an information platform instead of a selling channel. Designing mobile apps is a trend that will be adopted by all business in the future with the development of mobile phone based market such as apple store and Andria.
