The National Women's Party came together and were happy that the law for women's voting was passed and now women all around could vote and had the same privileges as men.

Annotation: In my opinion, this is a letter from Alice Paul sent to Miss Caroline Katzenstein issuing that she wants to get together and create a group for the Red Cross.

Women’s Suffrage

In my opinion women been through a lot. First, women couldn’t work for no one. They weren’t allowed to work, they could only stay home to cook, clean, and other home things that come with it. Also, women couldn’t vote because the men said they didn’t have any rights. Women were forced to have sex even when they didn’t want to. When men came home women had no right to say no when their husband wanted to have sex. Other, women were raped badly. Because of those women that were force to have sex they had kids and when they did the father would end up leaving her to take care of the kids by herself. In the end, the women deserved better then what they were getting in life.

Though there were many bad things, but there are also the good. Now, in the 21st century woman can work. They get the same benefits as all men. The way they got their freedom is because they marched and spoke out about the women and how they should have the same rights as men. Although, they were forced to have sex it is not tolerated an also rape. If these things occurred they would be put in jail. Women now put their husband or boyfriend on child support so the men would have to help their wife or girlfriend with the child they made. In the end, women in the 21st century have all the equal rights as to men. In conclusion, the way women were treated changed dramatically over time.
