Advanced Manufacture Technology Design (CAD)
The term "Advanced Manufacturing Technology" is used to describe flexible manufacturing systems that use innovative technology to improve the design and manufacture of products and processes. The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Program will teach you how these systems – using robotic and transport-based automation including modular work cells: assembly stations, storage locations, machining centers, welding centers and painting stations – play out in the product, from design to manufacture to delivery to the customer. Each student will acquire an overview of how a complete system is tied together to produce high quality product at a low cost.

At this rate the concept of education should have been miles ahead of us but yet we see the use of a black board and in some lucky cases a projector.

Interesting article.

So if we place a computer on the desk in front of students and change nothing else that changes education? That is the underlying issue. We have not changed the basic construct of an industrial age model of education. When will that happen? We seem comfortable with the status quo because it protects jobs and moves particular agendas forward in profitable ways.

Aita Gurung's insight:

This article is mainly about, FIDO Project (Facilitating Interactions for Dogs with Occupations) which is FIDO team project. I learn that they ... created four different sensors that dogs could activate (based on biting, tugging, and nose gestures) and tested them on-body with three assistance-trained dogs. We were able to demonstrate that it is possible to create wearable sensors that dogs can reliably activate on command.
