Small Nudges Can Improve How Students Apply to College

There’s a lot that school districts can do.

"For other students, especially those who may be the first in their family to attend college, however, it can be a time of great doubt and confusion, as they don’t know whether or where to apply. This uncertainty can be driven by factors including unfamiliarity with the college landscape, the actual or perceived unaffordability of college, and the challenge of finding a college that is a good fit for their qualifications and goals."

 

STEM/Tech Tours of Silicon Valley is an educational enrichment activity designed to support interest in STEM topics for students aged 13 - 19.  Each tour includes a visit to an actual technology work environments as well as a visit to a technology themed educational venue.
