It’s not enough for an employer to just be compliant at the start of the automatic enrolment process. They need to continue to monitor the ages and amount they pay staff to see if they need to put any of them into a pension scheme. They also need to manage any requests to join or leave the pension scheme and keep accurate records of how they’ve met their legal duties. Employers will also need to maintain the pension contributions at the right rate and be aware of any changes that might affect pension contributions. It’s the law.

HKICPA Orders Deloitte and an Accountant to Pay Fines | CFO Innovation
