No More Negativity!

No More Negativity! | Abundance Thinking | Scoop.it
If you’re struggling with a chronic illness, you may find yourself at times asking, “What did I do to deserve this? What am I doing wrong? Why am I not getting better?” As someone who has struggled with Lyme disease for 20 years now, I can tell you that these questions are understandable. The uncertainty and …
Sandi Cornez's insight:

Did you know that if you allow your negative thoughts to rise to the surface instead of trying to tamp them down and then process them without wallowing in them, you are giving yourself a real gift? You are surrendering in action.

Surrendering doesn’t mean capitulating. It means you are in an acceptance of what is and you can move ahead now with resolve.

Health tips:

1.  It’s never your fault. Allow yourself to think and be in an acceptance of what is and strive to change what can be changed.

2.  Your family and friends mean well but unless they walk in your shoes they don’t have a true understanding of what you’re going through. it’s okay. Allow a breath, say thank you, and continue on your path with others who do understand.

3.  Remember each of you is a healer of your own body. Make a commitment to infuse your words with positive thoughts and allow your actions to be in alignment with who you are. Practice being non-judgmental. Follow the path of non-resistance and detachment.

4.  Always allow your humorous side to bubble to the surface. Yes, even you. You know who you are. Laughter is a wonderful refreshing healer. Breathe deeply into your diaphragm through your nose and breathe out a delicious sweet breath which sounds like “haaaaaaaaaaa”.

5.  Try yoga, tai chi, or qi gong. Laughter yoga is fun for everyone. Play games, be a kid again. Life is way too short to do otherwise.

Guiding Principles For Living A Good Life | Care2

Guiding Principles For Living A Good Life | Care2 | Abundance Thinking | Scoop.it
Based on the teachings of Art of Living founder, Ravi Shankar, each of the five guiding principles offers a way to find peace and contentment in everyday life.
Sandi Cornez's insight:

Are you allowing abundance to flow freely through you? In nature abundance is everywhere one looks.

Nature provides an assortment of trees, bushes, flowers, plants, flowers, seeds, animals, insects, birds. Everyday year in and year out she continues to astound us with the sounds, scents, colors, smells, and tastes of myriad abundance.

Nature represents a calm grounding space. How can you cultivate this calm in your life?

In nature every flower, tree, insect, bird is welcome. None are turned away because of their color, size, shape, or other distinguishing effect. Nature accepts all with grace and warmth. In truth you are nature. There is no separateness.

Let’s return to the question asked at the start of this post. How do you see and feel abundance in your life? Does having money make you feel rich or is there another piece of the puzzle to this question?

Money is a form of energy just like everything else in this world of ours. We live in a limitless world of possibility. You can be abundant in every area of your life when you connect and are aligned with the infinite universal mind.

Where do you feel abundant and where do you feel lack? To answer these questions you want to go within, to observe and reflect. Observe without judgement. Reflect with honesty without guilt, and detach from the outcome.

The Stage Called “Life” - Hippocrates Health Institute

The Stage Called “Life” - Hippocrates Health Institute | Abundance Thinking | Scoop.it
Inside each of us are two players on the stage of life: Love and Fear. These two players perform the daily dramas that create our perception of the world from moment to moment. Love accepts and rejoices at all that life gives us as lectures along the path to the spirit. Love has no desires …
Sandi Cornez's insight:

Did you know that love, inner peace, joyfulness, and deep breathing can help you to release fear? Love wraps itself around us with peace and healing, with joyfulness to do amazing things.

Byron Katie says “when you know you are living in the now, there is no past or future and therefore no stress. Is it possible to live totally without stress? Yes, indeed, it is”.

Stress, anger, jealously, and even prejudice are fear related. The ‘what if’s’, the ‘suppose it happens’, the ‘should’s’ will all fall away. Open your heart and mind to the unlimited music in your soul.

Health Tips:

Center or ground yourself upon awakening each day. Say your “I am” affirmations and meditate. Every moment is precious, appreciate and be in gratitude. Love yourself first so you will love others throughout your day.

Breathe deeply and let out a pleasurable sound, “Haaaaaaaaaaa”. Get into the habit of forgiving and begin with yourself. Speak words of courage, listen with your heart, serve others with respect and integrity, and always tread lightly upon the earth.

5 steps to escape the trap of limiting beliefs
Sandi Cornez's insight:

Have you ever been in a situation where you believed there were no viable options? Of course you have. We've all been there at one time or another.

Your mind thinks it has to protect you and sends subconcious messages which are often based on conflicting beliefs or assumptions. You may not even notice them consciously in order to respond emotionally. However, the end result is leaving you in a state of panic, anxiety, and frustration without really knowing why.

Once these assumptions are understood and sorted out, you can free yourself from these limiting beliefs and continue on your journey. How do you uncover the trap your mind has set for you?

Because you may find it difficult to stay in the present moment and think things through carefully while these conflicting beliefs are causing emotional disaster, within you, t's always best to discuss with another person.

Basically you have two conflicting beliefs that don't work well togetheer. There is always a solution. As long as you hold on to both of them, you have no options. Letting go of one of them frees up options.

Read this interesting article to learn the process the author discusses. Know that there are many different processes available to bring you to a viable solution whatever your conundrum is, i.e. your conflicting beliefs and assumptions..

Remember when you get stuck,  your unconcious mind has most likely set a trap for you. You can identify the trap and set yourself free.

Being Nurtured By Nature

Being Nurtured By Nature | Abundance Thinking | Scoop.it
Spending time in nature has a profound effect on your health in a positive way, and if you are like most people, then you are probably spending a large part of your life on the computer, watching TV, skimming your phone and your time spent outdoors is minimal. This dependence on electronic media and not …
Sandi Cornez's insight:

Did you know there are numerous health benefits for your body when you allow yourself to spend time in a forest, in an outdoor activity, swimming, camping, or team sports. Let nature wake you up to all its glorious beauty and its serenity.

Health Tips:

This is a perfect time of the year to spend most of your waking hours in the great outdoors. If not during the week, then certainly on the weekends. Connecting with nature brings joy and balance into your life.

When you cultivate a sacred relationship with nature it helps to bring you closer to the true essence of who are: recognizing the truth of who you are.  By connecting with nature in a sacred relationship you are connecting with your inner wisdom.

You can go into nature to feed your ego because you climbed a mountain or swam the fastest. Or you can experience nature as a teacher who shows you how to live in harmony with others, who shows you how to work the land in a kinder way, how to be respectful to all who inhabit it, and who shows you how to be flexible and bend with the wind.

You are one with nature and everything on this beautiful blue planet humans call Earth. Spending more time in nature helps your body and your mind to value what’s really important and be open to make changes that help everyone and everything in this world.

Where is our joy located? It’s an odd question. Perhaps you think joy is in your heart, or maybe you experience joy as a state of mind.
