Indian Men Protest Rape Culture

Rape Culture, Gender Stereotypes, Male Privilege

I chose this article because I am very interested in rape culture abroad and wanted to explore a different part of the world. I also chose it because the men were recognizing their privilege and acting upon it.

I learned from this that the laws in India refer to women as if they are men's property.

I want to learn about the impact of this protest and if it caught on in more places. I also want to learn if it changed any laws or ways of thinking.
