Trisha Collins's curator insight, March 12, 2014 2:51 PM

Sir Ken Robinson was Director of The Arts in Schools Project (1985–89), Professor of Arts Education at the University of Warwick(1989–2001), and was knighted in 2003 for services to education.

If you have ever heard Sir Ken Robinson speak about education, his passion is electrifying. The message I believe Sir Ken Robinson is the industrial revolution is over but we still teach this way! Schools are constantly trying to fit more and more into the teaching day/ week and there is less time for children to explore and create. We are in a different time! Schools need to stop working as they did and have since the industrial revolution began and embrace the Digital Revolution! Ignite the creativity!
