The Krypton Science Council laughs at Jor-El's claim that the planet is doomed. Jor-El, Krypton's greatest scientist, walks home in disgust and finds comfort in his loving wife Lara. The couple is interrupted by a massive Earthquake indicating that the planet is about to explode. Immediately before the planet explodes, Jor-El and Lara bundle thier infant son Kal-El into an experimental rocket ship and send him on a to the planet Earth.

Kelloggs Corn Flakes with Superman & Jimmy Olsen

It's amazing how Superman can fly thru the air as fast as he does with an open box of corn flakes and not spill/lose any!! Not only are the boxes open (without top flaps), but they also appear to have no inner-bag in the box!!??!! But that's why they call him Superman!!

 

This "integrated" commercial appeared at the end of several episodes of "THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN" during the 1955-'56 season.
