I feel that this source is quite creditable. He is a very gifted story teller. Nobody in hiphop today can explain a story while making a catchy melody to go along with it all in all he's at the top right now.

J. Cole Takes Shots At Iggy Azalea, Eminem & Macklemore On

J. Cole Takes Shots At Iggy Azalea, Eminem & Macklemore On | 2014 Forest Hills Drive Leak | Scoop.it
J. Cole apparently calls out several white rappers on the '2014 Forest Hills Drive' track 'Fire Squad.' J. Cole is going a unique route with his upcoming album 2014 Forest Hills Drive. He's shying away from traditional promo and album campaign, instead getting the fans directly involved by hosting a...
Cody Morris's insight:

My insight on this particular article was that I hate they brought race into it. Music is music and you should not be categorized by what genre you listen to. This track that they refer to in the article is one that was leaked off J. Cole's album called "Fire Squad" one of the more popular songs that has come off it.

This was not taking a shot at them it was just stating a fact. He was only stating in the song Fire Squad that Hip/Hop was started by the african american community, and if you look at it today the sales of that music go to other artists like Macklemore, and Eminem. If you go back though history does speak on this because a lot of people say Elvis ripped James Brown and other Black inspirational artists in Rock n Roll.

J. Cole 2014 Forest Hills Drive Leak: Fans Debate Whether It's Okay To Listen Early

J. Cole 2014 Forest Hills Drive Leak: Fans Debate Whether It's Okay To Listen Early | 2014 Forest Hills Drive Leak | Scoop.it
Last month, J. Cole announced that his third studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, would be released on Dec. 9. The album is named after the last home he lived in as a child in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina. No singles or videos were planned to precede the release. Instead, his promotional strategy was more personal. First he surprised one lucky fan at his Dallas home to play the album for him, and then Cole hosted listening sessions for fans at his own home. Although the official release isn't until next week, 2014 Forest Hills Drives has leaked online.
Cody Morris's insight:

As a fan of J cole and roc nation, I think it is terrible that the album leaked however in this industry we have to be prepared for actions like this. I personally will not listen to the album until it officially releases.

I felt that me being a fan i wasn't going to listen to his album until i bought it. But i respect him greatly for what he did. Even though the album was leaked he made it so that fans could stream the album since this event happened. It showed that he's not money hungry and he is a very humble man.
