Political Action Committees

Political Action Committees | 2012APGOV | Scoop.it

PAC's or Political Action Committees are organizations with the ability to contribute to a campaign or against a campaign although they have no direct connection to the candidate. Connected PACs are limited to shareholders and heads of bussiness whereas nonconnected PACs are single issue groups. Super-PACs are able to recieve unlimited funds for a campaign issue or issues. This means that they may help as muc as they would like to during a campaign. PACs are very important because of the FECA and FEC which limit the federal candidate's ability to finance their own campaign.
