35% of traditonal banking market share will be shifted over to digital-only banking by 2020 (Accenture). Although branch selling is still an opportunity, the trend is to digital and mobile.

 

Digital is about rethinking the CX and how to react to the customer in the moment of need, as well as reducing cost (both in administering accounts and in account acquisition)

 

This will go to

1. 20% of this to Retail backed programmes

2. 15% to Branchless banks
