This is the Prezi I use in Presentation Skills workshops. Prezi is a web-based alternative to PowerPoint. It can be used in a more colloborative way than PowerPoint and you can embed video clips and other applications into it. You can build up information in it in a way which is similar to a mindmap, so it can be particularly useful if you wish to present information in a way which shows how ideas are linked or build on each other.

This classic clip shows how a high stakes presentation can go wrong. It's a good idea to have a plan about what you will do if something, like the technology, doesn't work as you had hoped. Of course it's also a good idea to have a run through beforehand to check that everything is working.
