Video - Transforming Angry Birds with Augmented Reality from PendAR

first Augmented Reality Angry Birds , created by PendAR http;//www.pendartechs.com...

Using augmented reality PendAR has developed a version of Angry Birds that is both 3D and able to be played just about anywhere. The game is superimposed on the physical environment thanks to augmented reality technology, which uses the camera of a smart phone or tablet to determine where the game should be located in the real world. Users are able to play the augmented reality version of Angry Birds the same way they would the traditional version. The game does not rely on markers for its augmented reality system, meaning that the game itself can be superimposed on just about any static surface.

We’ll talk planning and implementation of the program—but first, a bit of background. Let’s hop into the librarian time machine (fashioned from an old card catalog I found on Etsy) and go back to August 2011….

Don't Mourn JK Rowling's Young-Adult Fiction Career Yet - The Atlantic

Don't Mourn JK Rowling's Young-Adult Fiction Career Yet - The Atlantic | Young Adult and Children's Stories | Scoop.it

Rowling isn't the first beloved young-adult novelist to transition into adult fiction. And the good news is that if we take a look at other beloved children's authors who seemingly "graduated" into the world of adult literature, we find that they frequently—more often than not, even—return to children's literature, sometimes permanently and sometimes as a parallel career.
