Breakup of Gondwana

This is a colour clip showing a two-dimensional animation of how Australia was affected by the breakup of the supercontinent Gondwana. The clip begins 360 million years ago when Australia was joined to Antarctica, India, Africa and South America. The animation shows ice spreading across Gondwana, India breaking away, then Australia breaking away from Antarctica.
