It's always been possible to customise the look and feel of Xerte if you know what you are doing and have the relevant development skills and I have customised numerous installations for organisations over the years. In the next release we're also giving authors an option to select from a set of built-in themes and although this is still under development I've added a few test themes and here's an example. In fact this is working from version 2.1 just not from the menu selection option.
