In March 2012, the MacArthur Foundation shared a set of design and learning principles that emerged from their Digital Media and Learning Initiative of which the NWP is a member. These design and learning principles, called "Connected Learning"  are meant to support a proposal for a new approach to learning anchored in a rich history of teaching and learning research and theory. They are also being designed to mine the learning potential of the new social and digital media domains.

Of course, how data is displayed -- if done well -- can tell its own story.  The next step is to give a presentation as a story, and tell the story of the data as you are doing so.
