Many students begin news articles with who, what, where, when.....boring.  Help the reader know why they should care. Respect the audience by creating meaning and giving insight.

Common Core Writing Rubrics

Turnitin has partnered with the English Professional Learning Council (EPLC) to develop three writing rubrics—argument, informative and narrative—that are aligned with the CCSS.
