The war was something nobody wanted but had to happen in order to stop Germany. Many people do not realize that Britain and the french did not want germans to take land but they were scared of another war. Eventually they had no choice on september 1, 1939 germans moved into poland and bombed roads, bridges, and villages. They staged a scene, the Nazis took an unknown prisoner from one of their concentration camps dressed him in a Polish uniform. They then  took him to the border between germany and poland, and shot him. They made it seem like a polish attack, this was hitlers excuse to invade poland.

World War 2 started in 1939 in Europe. The war started because Germany was talking over land and once they got to Poland Britain declared war. This was the largest armed conflict in history. This war introduced new powerful weapons and even led to the making of the first nuclear bomb. World War 2 caused about 50 million deaths that is the largest amount of deaths in a war.
