The Divine Prince 's insight:
Monday, October 29, 2012Baphomets in Bassinets:The West African "Cradle" of Modern Satanic Imagery (Pt.2of2)

In medieval Europe white witches and warlocks dressed in all black would go down to the crossroads of the forests to conjure Al-Aswad, “The Black Man” of the crossroad. They would dance in a counter-clockwise circle—just as many Jamaican Pocomania revivalists do to this day. However, the witches and warlocks, in addition to this, would recite Muslim prayers backwards to conjure their god who was a Black man, which is why they wore “all black everything.”  The Witch’s cauldron is based on the Holy Grail of Congolese spirituality which is known as a “Prenda” in the West and Central African religion of Palo Mayombe. Palo practitioners, as I have noted in other posts, conduct many of their rituals at forest crossroads. Palero Markus Rodrique sheds much more light on this in his uniquely insightful book KimbizaSanto Cristo: Return of the Holy Grail, Knights Templar and Grand Dragon.    A year before I even read that book I was in an occult bookstore in Minneapolis, Minnesota and within 30 minutes of the time that I was there, I saw a white man, and later, a white woman—both dressed in gothic attire—asking for books on Palo Mayombe. The store manager threw several titles at the man. Some of which I was familiar with. Others I was not. The guy pretty much had all of the books the manager told him about so he ended up leaving the store to continue with his Palo search. I thought the timing of this Palo fascination was odd, because I had bought one of the titles the manager mentioned to the man from another occult bookstore just the day before. You are probably still wondering where the Baphomet goat image comes from, so I will tell you. It’s very simple. The worship of the West African deity Alegba was imported into Europe by West African Moors.                        An Alegba statue in Benin, West Africa

Baphomet We know this because Alegba, who is a god of wisdom, has three zoomorphic images attributed to him: the lion in some instances, and the goat or bull in others. The Secrets of Voodoo by Milo Rigaud touches on this. Also Alegba is worshiped as the Guardian of the Crossroads, the same guardian that Delta blues musician Tommy Johnson said he got his guitar-playing skills from; the same crossroads that European witches and warlocks went into the forest to worship their Black God. The French occultist Eliphas Levi created the Baphomet goat image that has been popularized in occult books and Hollywood movies. It is important to note that Hollywood is a reference to the “Holy Wood,” or the “Palo” used by African Paleros for magical purposes. The word Palo means “stick” in Spanish, a language that was spoken by several Moors of Iberia. The African palo is  where Medieval Western Europe got the idea of the magic wand made of wood. Levi’s countrymen were driven out of Haiti by Black men and women who worshiped Alegba. So in order to scare people away from the West African sciences Alegba’s image was not only demonized, but perverted.                                    A West African Magician                                      A Hollywood Magician Today there is a forest located in the West African republic of Benin, known as the Oidah Sacred Forest which has been designated as such in memory of King Kpasse who is said to have been a King of Benin many centuries ago. In live video footage that will be made available at a later time you will see a tour guide talking about a huge statue of Alegba along with other West African gods. In Africa, gods and goddesses with horns are VERY common (Amen Ra, Abassi, Khonsu and Alegba to name a few). Notice that the statue—in keeping with African tradition—depicts Alegba as a horned Black man with an erect penis. Now go back to the Baphomet image drawn by Levi with the rod in his phallic region and you will see that the Baphomet goat is just an ostentatious depiction of the African “Father of Understanding” Alegba. Is it totally inconceivable for us to conclude that a West African god of wisdom could be revered by Hugh de Payens—who was himself a descendant of West Africans—as an “Abu Fihamet” (Father of Understanding)? Remember that Templar founder de Payens was of Moorish descent and his last name was “de Payens” which means “of the Pagans.” Who were these “Pagans”? They were Moorish occultists who brought aspects of traditional African religion to medieval Christian France. This is why the allegiance of Franciscan Moors was often questioned by the Papacy. The popes knew that these Black Catholics were the descendants of Africans who brought the African life sciences to Europe so they never fully trusted them. Conceptually speaking, a Moor is a Butler. Most people know that a butler is a servant, but that is just the colloquial definition for the word butler.

A Moorish Progenitor of the Austrian Habsburg bloodline Butler also has a noble definition as there is an English Coat of Arms for this last name. Since when does a lowly servant have a Coat of Arms that was strictly reserved for Europe’s Nobility? The English word Butler comes from the Latin word “Buticularius” which denotes one who is the vessel of a tradition or steward of a noble bloodline. In Western occultism grapevines, or a bottle of wine, is symbolic of such a bloodline. In its most esoteric context, a butler is a custodian and gatekeeper for the Old Moorish Dominion often referred to as the Black Nobility. Arab authorities sometimes equated Al-Aswad with Dhul Qarnayn (The Lord of Two Horns in the Koran). Orthodox Muslims are advised not to recite prayers while the sun is rising because it is said that the sun rises between the two horns of Shaitan (Satan) and that the children of Shaitan recite their prayers while the sun is rising. If you look at images of the Kemetic deity Het Heru, you will often see that she is depicted as a cow with a solar disk between her two horns. Het Heru's holy day of worship was on a Friday, which is the same day as the Muslim holy day of Juma'h. Also the sacred color of Islam is green, but green is also the sacred color of the goddess Het Heru.
Het Heru So when Arab Muslim clerics talk about the sun rising between the horns of Satan, you need to understand that the Satan that they are talking about is the African goddess Het Heru. Orthodox Islam does the same thing that the Catholic Church does, and that is blatantly steal from, and then demonize, the African life sciences. NO ONE who is an awaken Moor by blood will have ANYTHING to do with ISLAM or CHRISTIANITY unless their intention is to deceive enemies and/or foment political allies, who even then, are merely short term associates in the pursuit of long term goals. The only true family members you have in this world are those people who value what you value. You don’t need millions of people to change the world. One hundred men and women who share the same mind can turn the entire world upside down. This is the mindset of an Illuminist. In a world that is overtly dominated by Western religion and culture the Black man’s god is the white man’s devil. If you come out of a Moorish bloodline then you should make your personal affirmations when the sun is rising. We pray to nothing outside of ourselves, for we are the Titans. I remember years ago I was talking to a white coworker who personally told me that he was a Satanist and how much he enjoyed himself on Halloween the night before. He pointed to the black nail polish on his fingernails and seemed disappointed that I wasn’t uncomfortable or intimidated by what he was telling me. He thought that I would be afraid of him as many Black people would have been, but he actually made me more comfortable than I already was.   I understood even back then that the Baphomet goat that he said he gave offerings to was merely a European misrepresentation of an African god whom MY ancestors may have given offerings to many centuries ago. Pop-culture Satanists are in large part white men and women who are ignorant of the fact that all that they’re practicing is a perverse and cartoonish adaptation of African life sciences that they learned from African men in the Middle Ages.  If you’re not a dancer by nature, and someone told you to dance like Michael Jackson you would probably look silly doing it because you are trying to do something that doesn’t come naturally to you. You might over emphasize some moves that Jackson may have done with more subtlety. On the other hand you may under emphasize other moves  that he would have done with more grace, flair, and confidence. This is what happened to European witches and warlocks who were labeled by their European peers as Satanists. They were really just decent men and women who were trying to practice African spirituality as best they could. Since it was not their natural way of life they practiced it in such a way in which it was difficult for you to see the African origins. If a man can’t dance you would not recognize that he was trying to imitate Michael Jackson moves unless he told you. For the Europeans of the Middle Ages, the scary West African masks (at least by their standards) became ghouls and goblins. The African Christ Alegba became synonymous with the Christian devil.

All of the energy that today’s Gothic witches, Catholic priests, and warlocks will generate through “Satanic” rituals this Halloween will be siphoned off by me and the thousands of Mind Glow Media readers across the globe who now understand that these men and women are really just worshiping images of the Africans that they created in their perverse imaginations. All of their little Halloween rituals will energize and reinvigorate us by default. If my coworker, who was actually a pretty cool guy, really wanted to make me uncomfortable he should have given me Catholic rosary beads or a Muslim prayer mat. I guess he forgot that he was talking to a man generated in the image of his God, Al Aswad.  And for all of those clowns still spreading all kinds of fear and hype about the Builder Burgers and the Menage a Trois Commission, I want to make myself very clear when I say that the  REAL Illuminati was just a collection brilliant Black men and women with material wealth who practiced the African life sciences. People who are propelled through life by emotional trauma are always looking to spread their mental illness to others. They really should take a break from teaching the poor and less fortunate so that they can get some much needed therapy for themselves. Researchers are quick to name-drop the almost insignificant Adam Weishaupt—who shares his birthday with a REAL Illuminatus Major in the personage of Robert Nesta Marley—as the founder of the Bavarian Illuminati. But what exactly were Weishaupt’s personal ideals? To answer this question we must examine a direct quote in which he describes the goals of his order. In his book An Improved System of the Illuminati (1787) Weishaupt says: “Whoever does not close his ear to the lamentations of the miserable, nor his heart to gentle pity; whoever is the friend and brother of the unfortunate; whoever has a heart capable of love and friendship; whoever is steadfast in adversity, unwearied in the carrying out of whatever has been once engaged in, undaunted in the overcoming of difficulties; whoever does not mock and despise the weak; whose soul is susceptible of conceiving great designs, desirous of rising superior to all base motives, and of distinguishing itself by deeds of benevolence; whoever shuns idleness; whoever considers no knowledge as unessential which he may have the opportunity of acquiring, regarding the knowledge of mankind as his chief study; whoever, when truth and virtue are in question, despising the approbation of the multitude, is sufficiently courageous to follow the dictates of his own heart, - such a one is a proper candidate[for acceptance into the Illuminati]” It is very evident that Weishaupt and his Bavarian Illuminati were inspired by the Moorish paradigm that nurtured the ideals of the European renaissance and subsequent enlightenment period. As a son of the 18th century enlightenment, what concrete historical examples did Weishaupt even have for the realization of his seemingly lofty social ideals? There was nothing outside of Al-Andalus to give him a historical frame of reference for anything that we can even remotely refer to as a Utopian society.  The Bavarian Illuminati was merely a German version of Los Alumbrados, a secret society that was established in post-Moorish Spain, yet paradoxically cloaked and invigorated by a Moorish cultural veneer. The Moors of the Old Dominion were extremely progressive in their attitudes towards the arts and sciences, in direct contrast to the Papacy which punished some of Europe’s most progressive scientific minds. Just ask Copernicus.

A Moorish Illuminist enjoying his material wealth and prosperity If you are afraid of the big bad Illuminati then you are really just afraid of the best within yourself, because you were born a member of the REAL Illuminati even if you came out of poverty. If you were not a member of the REAL Illuminati then you wouldn’t have bothered to read this bitch which is long as fuck. You would have gotten bored and watched a football game or some reality TV show. However you knew that this was important even if only to share with a loved one.

The Baphomet spat my creamy thoughts from the base of his nuts. Pope Benedict tried to swallow it whole, but it burnt a hole in his guts. The Moors paid the ultimate price for their passionate pursuit of cultural excellence. For they so loved the world that they sacrificed their legacy so that Western man would have a scapeGOAT for his personal shortcomings and failings. Hopefully, you, the reader, will not let their sacrifice go in vain. You are an Illuminatus Major. It’s time for you to remind the rest of the world. More importantly, it’s time that you reminded yourself.

The Divine Prince 's insight:
Ayanmo-ipin The Ifa Concept of Destiny by Awo Falokun

At the core of Ifa spiritual discipline is the belief that each person chooses their destiny as preparation for coming to the world between stages of reincarnation (atunwa). The Yoruba word ayanmo-ipin is usually translated to mean destiny. This translation misses the deeper exoteric implications of the elision ayan mo ipin meaning my sacred ancestral tree is divided. I interpret this as a poetic reference to the interconnection of all of Creation. The word ipin may mean either division or can be a reference to the spiritual power that flows from the eyes when a person is in possession. When possession occurs there is a distinct physical transformation that manifests in the eyes. It is taboo to look directly into the eyes of a medium because the eyes have the ability to cause possession in the uninitiated. Because the word for destiny is associated with these phenomena, there is a clear suggestion that destiny includes some level of direct alignment with the Orisa that incarnates a particular person’s ori.
Ifa teaches that when a child is born, the journey down the birth cannel causes the ori to forget the details of their chosen destiny. The purpose of initiation is to place the initiate in perfect alignment with their higher self in an effort to re-awaken the memory of the original agreement between self and Creation. Each stage of the initiation; process is analogous to the stages of physical birth and the initiation itself is a form of atunde meaning rebirth. Initiation can give the initiate a clear vision of personal destiny. Ipin is the spiritual substance that carries this vision, when this transformation occurs the initiate experiences oju-ase meaning power to the eyes. The connotation of oju ase can potentially elevate the consciousness of the medium to a point known as iweju meaning mystic vision. Those who experience iweju are believed to be guided towards a deeper appreciate of self and World through the gift of seeing the hidden influences at play in the world.
Ifa is based on the observation that Creation is inherently benevolent. Those who have access to iweju are in a position to receive guidance and inspiration for the development of iwa-pele based on a very real experience that everything in the world is inter-connected. Experiencing this truth is different from understanding the idea. Experience brings a deep sense of knowing that makes it possible to constantly remain in an open ended state of transformation and change. Little time is wasted with regret, shame or jealousy. Problems are handled in the moment with focus and intention.
The ori and the iponri move towards longer and longer periods of alignment giving easier access to the altered state of consciousness called ini. The literal translation of ini is I am. This suggests that possession, rather than being an intrusion from the outside is an enhancement of something from within. This suggestion is a little misleading because after the individual connects with the inner self, the ori-inu forms a bond with similar expressions of consciousness throughout Creation. For example the ori-inu of a passionate person might be incarnated by the same Odu that incarnates fire (Iwori Meji). Such a person will be mesmerized by fire and will constantly give off body heat, often described as charisma. An ori-inu incarnated by the same Odu as the Spirit the Ocean (Odi Meji) would feel the need to nurture others. It is this bound that empowers the experience of ini by infusing the ori with the awareness of that which transcends personal experience.
In East Indian Mystical tradition there is a belief that all history, past, present and future is recorded in the Invisible Realm known as the Akashic Record in Vedanta tradition and known as Olorun in Ifa. Traditionally there have been two dominant views regarding the nature of destiny. One is that destiny is totally pre-ordained and unalterable. The other is that it is undetermined and completely regulated by laws of cause and effect. Ifa takes the middle view. Destiny in Ifa cosmology is based on the agreement between ori and Olorun. In simple terms, this means every individual chooses their range of potential in the time between each incarnation (atunwa). Ifa teaches that these choices are forgotten at the movement of birth and the process of personal transformation reveals portions of that agreement as life progresses.
There is a Yoruba proverb that says; “Igbala kuro inu ese at iku anipekun” meaning; “initiation into the Mystery of Light places my foot where death ceases to exist.” The place where death ceases to exist is the eternal center of Orun called lai-lai. The word lai-lai refers to a pre-existential state where all that comes into Being exists in an Ideal State of Perfection and Unity. This is a place the human ori can touch. An experience of lai-lai is a glimpse at the Source of Creation.

We MUST see and focus on our similarities before our differences.  We MUST or it will kill us...it is (killing) tearing us apart now.  When we focus on our differences we strengthen our sense of separateness - not only from one another but also in our relatedness to God.  When I see my similarities to you...it is only then that I can see that God lives in you too.

When God or a "Higher Power" is apparent in another person it is usually because he or she possesses an extraordinary sense of peace, or kindness, generosity, compassion; some higher valued quality or character...if I don't experience my contentedness to that person.... if I cannot sense or know my brotherhood/sisterhood to that extraordinary person - I therefor experience a difference, feel less than, less valuable, and or some measurement of lesser value. When I say "namaste" to anyone... I am saying "I see the God in you"...how can I see that which I do not know myself?

So..

I have to applaud Pope Francis' continued focus on our commonalities. Given that I grew up Catholic (and Irish at that) - in my community (South Boston) if you were different you did not belong.  If you did not belong you were exorcised (strong words? well - it was pretty violent at times).

I believe, sense, intuit that I cannot find God while I am coming from judgement, resentment, fear of...

I ask, I pray  that I may always see myself in the poorest and most challenged of person's.
