Modern Marketing involves more technology along with traditional efforts, and utilizes digital marketing communication channels that enables executing specifically-tailored messaging to targeted audiences and tracking basic, meta results. Instead of throwing a small ball into a large crowd and hoping someone catches it like in traditional marketing, it’s like throwing a larger ball in to a smaller crowd of people that you feel are more likely to catch [...]

A couple of days ago, I shared a picture on social networks that showed how much traffic Social Media Slant had received in February 2014. The blog keeps growing steadily and I love letting others know about it. The picture led to a short but interesting conversation with Blogger and Social Media Advocate, Valerie Van Spengen, on Twitter. She and I agreed that the success of a blog (and the brand behind it) depends on the relevancy and value of its content.

Думаю, это упрощенчество )
Желательно сформулировать что-то вроде:
маркетинг = ... + продукт + продажи + ...
Всё же, маркетинг больше, чем продукт + продажа
Как и само предпринимательство, или бизнес.
Это "живой организм".
И, если деньги - денежные потоки - это кровь, кровеносная система бизнеса, то маркетинг - нервная система бизнеса, и центральная, и периферическая - вся.
Значит, без живого маркетинга бизнес, как и биологический организм, или орган, можно только "гальванизировать", то есть, давать электрические разряды, от которых происходят подёргивания и судороги, но ничего осмысленного и целенаправленного.
Думаю, это правильное понимание маркетинга )

I usually care too much about food labels. If something has monosodium glutamate (E621) or high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) in it, I’m probably not going to buy it no matter how healthy or delicious the food looks as a whole. (Strangely, I’d be willing to eat it, though.)

Some people care about different ingredients such as “E-numbers”. I made this graphic to demonstrate how “natural” products (such as a banana) contain scary-looking ingredients as well. All the ingredients on this list are 100% natural in a non-GM banana. None of them are pesticides, fertilisers, insecticides or other contaminants.

There’s a tendency for advertisers to use the words “pure” and “simple” to describe “natural” products when they couldn’t be more wrong. With this diagram, I want to demonstrate that “natural” products are usually more complicated than anything we can create in the lab. For brevity’s sake, I omitted the thousands of minority ingredients found in a banana, including DNA ;-)

This is a question that I have wondered about. While this graphic gives an abbreviated, visual response to the question, it provides key insights into the issue. 

 

The image cleverly illustrates the signs of narcissism before depicting the negative effects of social media, which include ADHD, depression and narcissistic personality disorder and addiction, among others. 

 

It would be interesting to know the reasons WHY "People who use Facebook the most tend to have more narcissistic or insecure personalities" and why "those who [score] higher in narcissism also posted more often on twitter". While this post points out yet another important issue surrounding social media that cannot be ignored by business professionals and users alike, it does not provide enough information for the reasoning behind its statements.
