An Update on the 75+mp Camera in the Wild

An Update on the 75+mp Camera in the Wild | world of Photo and vidéo | Scoop.it
It exists, but will it come to market?
We have confirmed that a test camera with around 80mp is definitely in the wild. A few things to note about the camera. It’s apparently in an EOS-1 body and has a larger than 3.2″ LCD on the back.

Press Release. London, UK, 10 January 2013 – "Canon today expands the Cinema EOS System with the addition of two new prime lenses to its EF Cinema Lens line-up – the new CN-E 14mm T3.1 L F and the CN-E 135mm T2.2 L F. Designed to offer outstanding performance for a wide range of professional users, both lenses offer 4K resolutions, leading optical technologies and high-grade professionally-optimised designs, making them ideal for use in virtually any kind of production – from low to high-end.

The launch of the new lenses takes Canon’s EF Cinema Lens line-up to nine models, joining the existing CN-E 24mm T1.5 L F,
CN-E 50mm T1.3 L F and CN-E 85mm T1.3 L F primes, to create new options at wide-angle and telephoto focal lengths and offer even greater creative choice for filmmakers of all kinds."
