Prezi non può essere considerato propriamente uno strumento per i webdoc, ma costituisce un'esperienza interessante e utile magari per arrivarci e cambiare il modo di concepire la documentazione per la didattica.

JOLT - Journal of Online Learning and Teaching

JOLT - Journal of Online Learning and Teaching | World History and Current Issues | Scoop.it

Shared online videos have become quite popular. These streamed videos are so pervasive that 69% of Internet users and 52% of adults in the United States have watched or downloaded videos online (Purcell, 2010). It was predicted that videos would represent 50% of total data transfers on the Internet by 2012 (Madden, 2007). These statistics leave little doubt as to the rising importance of shared online videos for educational purposes.

This set of old "anti-suffrage" propaganda might seem funny, quaint or old-fashioned from our modern lens (or infuriatingly patriarchal), but they are also great primary document to examine the cultural values and political climate of the United States at the turn of the century (even that phrase is old-fashioned and now out of date).  For more see the Choices Program's supplemental board.

Well this will be nice too have in college. It will make getting information easier. But I don't understand how they are going to make this free of charge for everyone. How will the people who write these books get paid.
Cathryn Wellner's comment, April 7, 2013 6:28 PM
New models are going to have to be developed. Newspapers are facing this as well, but few people these days want to rely on only one news source. So perhaps a prescription service that allows access to multiple sources. I'll bet people are working on the models as I type.

How To Capture Ideas at Presentations and Events by Doing Visual Recording on the iPad

Robin Good: Rachel Smith explains in very simple words how you can use your iPad to capture and record visually the key ideas and concepts presented during a lecture, keynote, training class or presentation.

She provides a good round-up of four relevant tools that can be used for this task, analyzing their key pros and cons as well as providing logistic and technical advice on how to best organize and setup yourself for doing visual recording on the iPad.

As similar tools will provide more ready-made icons, templates and patterns available for this kind of real-time idea-capturing, this rare and pioneering visual recording work will begin to catch up even more rapidly.

Very useful. 8/10
