The Baffler
Léonne Willems's insight:

An excellent systemic/integral approach to 'money' and 'WORK' by Graeber! Quote: 'Labor, similarly, should be renegotiated. Submitting oneself to labor discipline—supervision, control, even the self-control of the ambitious self-employed—does not make one a better person.' <...> 'Labor is virtuous if it helps others'. <...>

- install mentoring programmes to bridge intergenerational gaps

- install reverse mentoring programmes (pairing top management with young employees)

- let hierarchies disappear (check my personal advice out: introduce Holacracy)

- replace hierarchies by communities of mutal interest and passion (so open up corporate social technologies to include suppliers, clients, partners ...)

- provide frequent and honest feedback in real time instead of annual reviews

- be transparent about your values since they value an employer whose values matches their own.

Great study: many facts!
