From my point of view, it is not about whether women or men are the "better" leaders. We need both men and women leaders. We need diversity. We need equal participation of both genders in leadership.

 

We must therefore discuss which traits are the most important for leaders today, which these traits are culturally labelled female or male and why, which we want to put on the list of most essential leadership skills.

Then we have to decide how we can train both genders to develop and display these skills.
